Job Description:

Our client is looking for an Industrial Chemist to join its team in a Technical Services & Quality Assurance capacity, providing technical support, quality assurance and application expertise across coating projects. The role combines technical field support, quality inspections, site assessments, product demonstrations and customer training, making it ideal for a technically strong professional who can work effectively both on-site and with clients.

Provide technical support on coating products, systems and applications.

Conduct site inspections and technical assessments.

Monitor coating application processes to ensure compliance with required standards and specifications.

Perform quality inspections and identify potential application or product-related issues.

Support product demonstrations and technical presentations.

Conduct product and application training for customers, applicators and relevant stakeholders.

Prepare technical reports and documentation following site assessments and inspections.

Work closely with sales and business development teams to provide technical support during client engagements.

Support technical marketing activities and product promotion.

Investigate technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience in coatings, paints, construction chemicals, industrial chemicals or a related technical environment is an advantage.

Strong understanding of quality control and technical inspection processes.

Good analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills.

Comfortable conducting site visits and working in field environments.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to provide technical guidance to customers and application teams.
