Automotive Fleet Technician

Cizonet Solutions Limited is recruiting for an Automotive Fleet Technician on behalf of a client in the logistics/fleet operations sector.

Location: Lagos

Work Mode: Onsite / Field-Based

Department: Corporate Services

Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and preventive maintenance of fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and transmission faults.
• Conduct pre-deployment vehicle inspections.
• Maintain braking, suspension, steering, cooling and electrical systems.
• Conduct tyre and battery inspections.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and roadside repairs where required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical reports.

Requirements

• OND/SSCE, Technical Certificate, Trade Test, NABTEB, or equivalent qualification in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Experience maintaining cars, vans, buses and/or light commercial vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of petrol and diesel engines.
• Experience with vehicle diagnostic tools/scanners is an advantage.
• Strong technical reporting, safety and problem-solving skills.
• Fleet/logistics experience is an advantage.
