Inventory Specialist (Full Time)

 Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Inventory Specialist to manage and optimize our inventory processes. In this role, you will ensure accurate tracking of stock levels, forecast inventory needs, and support the efficiency of our supply chain operations to contribute to the overall success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Inventory Levels: Maintain accurate inventory records across all product lines using inventory management software.
  • Conduct Audits: Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
  • Forecasting: Analyze sales trends and market data to forecast inventory needs and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure timely restocking and efficient inventory flow.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed inventory reports and analyses for management review.
  • System Management: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of inventory management systems and tools.
  • Compliance: Ensure all inventory practices comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 2–5 years of experience in inventory management or a similar role.
    • Proven experience with inventory management software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge:
    • Understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
    • Familiarity with supply chain processes and logistics.

Salary: N150,000 - N200,000 monthly

Experience Required:

  • Minimum: 2 years
  • Maximum: 5 years
